So gorgeous! I miss all of the flowers Mom plants. Occasionally I will drive or walk by a place with flowers like hers but never quite to that extreme. Mom has a love for bulb flowers (and plants/flowers in general) like none other. For some reason, I just can't get indoor flowering plants to continue to flower after I bring them home (even if I follow all of the advice on proper care). Though my desert rose is making a come back after I took some more time to educate myself on its care. It is a finicky plant that likes way too much sunshine (12+ hours per day or strong sunshine which I can't give it here in my apartment), water occasionally (and it can't sit in the water, it has to drain extremely well), and can't be planted very deep in the soil (otherwise you have to deal with trunk rot like I did). I am hoping that one day it will bloom for me because they are absolutely gorgeous when they do. I have had it for years and I still don't know what color the blooms are.
I love getting comments and reading what you have to say!
